She did an absolutely amazing job on this video.

This has got to be the sexiest I’ve ever seen her to date.

I mean, she’s done plenty of “cute” and Spring Breakers got her in a bikini, but this video?

She’s practically making love to the camera!

And I for one am loving every moment of it.

I guess what I’m trying to say is the video is very well done.

I’m also quite taken by the song itself.

The “na-na-na’s” do get stuck in your head rather easily, but in a good way.

I am very much looking forward to her full album release later this year.

On Saturday April 27th Disney presented the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards in Los Angeles CA at the Nokia Theater LA Live.

I was there for exactly one reason. And her name is Selena Gomez. <3

Yes, that’s right, Disney actually put up the cash to not only have Selena at the event, but she performed her new single “Come and Get it” and closed the show.

It was spectacular. I don’t know what else to say.

Her outfit wasn’t as sexy as what she wore to DWTS (for those of you that asked, we’ll get to that!)…

… but it’s Selena. She doesn’t need to show any skin to be the sexiest girl on Earth.

I’m probably a bit biased as I am madly in love with her, but I hope you will all agree with me on that.

So Selena Gomez was at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.

She was performing…

… so it’s hardly a surprise that she was there.

Still, it was good to see her.

I mean, I love her. <3

So… it occurs to me that I never commented on the Wizards special Alex vs. Alex. (On here at least.)

On the whole, I very much liked it. I really enjoy the world “Wizards” has created far and apart from my girl Selena being the star of the franchise.

I think the biggest weakness in this special was our bad guy. He was kind of lame, to be honest. Why did he need to create Evil Alex when he still needed good Alex to cast the spell? Don’t get me wrong, Evil Alex was hot as Hell but he could have captured the family himself. And then he’s defeated when Mason pushed him off the tower? Really? That was just stupid. It would have been a lot stronger if Evil Alex turned on him at the beginning, trapping him in the bracelet so that they could have him and Mason work together to free Good Alex and stop Evil Alex.

That said, I loved the way they did the back and forth between New York and Italy. It was great to see more of the Russo family, including the new wizards in training. They did a great job continuing the storyline in a way that made sense. And of course having two Alex’s meant twice the Selena. I’ve no complaints about that. I did miss Justin, although it was kind of nice to see Alex save the world (from herself xD) all on her own.

In particular, I thought the fight scene between both Alexs in the Jumbotron was spectacular. Of course, the idea of having a physical fight with ones self is kind of silly. They’re the same person, they’re going to be equally matched. But when you throw in the magic effects it was very well done. And damn, Alex has some moves!

I was a little surprised that Alex willingly gave up her powers to save the world. Although in retrospect, I shouldn’t be. She’s done it before and as “selfish” as they want to make her out to be, Alex has always had a big heart and she cares about other people. Even if she did almost destroy the world everything she’s saved it. Except for Wizards vs. Asteroids. That one wasn’t her fault (…I’m pretty sure).

I do wonder though, was there no undo spell for the split? I mean, Good Alex did reference “getting back together” and that seems like the natural solution – to recombine herself. And I guess that did eventually happen, but not how I expected it too. I’m glad her powers were restored though. I was actually worried they wouldn’t be – not that I expect another chapter later on. I think we’re really done now.

One final thought, I really did like how they stepped up the special effects. The flashes in and out looked so cool, and they did a lot of them. More than they really needed and I have to applaud that.

I have been going on and on about the Spring Breakers Hollywood Premiere for like a week now.

Well, this will probably be my last post on the subject, and there are a couple girls in the movie that I haven’t gotten to yet.

The director’s wife Rachel Korine was, surprisingly, a highlight of the film for me.

The fact that she was topless didn’t hurt any. xD

Oh, and Heather Morris and her former roommate Ash Lendzion were in it too.

As for the actual film, I went to see it on Saturday and it is an interesting movie, to say the least. It was structured like an art film with a lot of layers and the editing really seemed to be a big part of how the story was told. Harmony included a lot of scenes and details that would forshaddow future events, and then he would cut back to those moments later in the film – I assume to make sure you didn’t miss them. He would also show glimpses of things about to happen and cut together various scenes with one common point. Which is a long way of saying that the movie was a lot more complex than I had expected.

But storytelling aside, the actual plot and events were fairly simple… Girls rob a restaurant, go to Florida, party too hard and get arrested, get bailed out by gangster, Selena’s character freaks out and leaves (I hate seeing Selena cry, and OMG, was that one hell of a hard scene to watch), Rachel’s character gets shot then freaks and leaves, and Ashley & Vanessa’s characters, well, “bad ass in a bikini” sounds just about right.

As a Selena fan, I was pleased to get to see her in something different than her usual roles. Faith never did much more than drink and smoke, so this really wasn’t much of a departure for her. Vanessa was quite the bad ass in 2011′s “Sucker Punch” so “Candy” wasn’t much of a stretch. It was Ashley Benson that really surprised and impressed me. In one week she went from “Hanna” in the season finale of Pretty Little Liars” to this total bad ass “Brit” in “Spring Breakers.” Overall, I still recommend the film, but be sure to keep an open mind, it’s probably now what you were expecting.

Oh my Selena. <3

Never has there been a girl as absolutely amazing as she is.

This is probably stating the obvious, but she has always looked stunning in red.

This particular set was from the Spring Breakers Premiere in Hollywood last week.

As I mentioned in my Bella post, I happened to be there, across the street.

I didn’t get very close to her, but I did get to see her. Hell, I could feel her presence before I even saw her…

… so be sure to go see her movie when it comes out tomorrow. #AlmostTime

The rest of the cast are great, but there’s just no comparison to my Selly.

Well, my girls sure have been busy lately!

They really blew through Europe and I have a ton of foreign premieres I need to post.

Normally, I’d prefer to give my Selly separate posts…

… but there’s just so much of her right now it’s unbelievable.

And I gotta say Vanessa is almost as pretty as Selena.

Ashley Benson’s no slouch either, but I have another site for her. xD

So if you couldn’t tell, I really am very excited to see this film.

I still don’t know exactly what to expect but as long as I get to see more of these gals, I’ll be happy.
